Ibiza

Ibiza Airport, known officially in Catalan as “Aeroport d’Eivissa” and in Spanish as “Aerpuerto de Ibiza” (IATA: IBZ, ICAO: LEIB) is located in the southwest of the Ibiza island, about 7 km southwest of Ibiza city centre.

Ibiza is an icon because of its privileged natural environment, its cultural and heritage assets, its cheerful and cosmopolitan atmosphere and for its sports, gastronomic and leisure offer for all audiences. For all these reasons Ibiza has become in a mythical and paradisiacal destination that attracts travelers from all over the world.

From Ibiza Airport you can also easily travel in 30 minutes by ferry-boat to the other minor Balearic island Formentera, also a great mediterranean paradise.

BY BOAT

Tare three points that offer direct routes from the peninsula to the port of Ibiza: Barcelona, Valencia and Denia. In addition, there are also ferries that arrive from Palma de Mallorca and, obviously, there is a route between Ibiza and Formentera, the only way to reach this small Balearic island. They all arrive at the Port of

Ibiza, located in the south of the island, in the city of Eivissa. Two companies operate some of these routes: Balearia and Trasmediterranea. In both cases they are large ships, more similar to a small cruise ship, with all kinds of services.
