An European Championship on wheels thanks to Toyota
Badminton has made Ibiza vibrate with the dispute of three consecutive international tournaments. Events that have been possible thanks to the support of the Ebusus Motor dealership, official sponsor of the championships, with the support of Toyota Spain. Because of that, the president of the European Badminton Confederation, Joao Matos, and the president of the Spanish Badminton Federation, Andoni Azurmendi, appreciated the support with a visiting the dealership located in Cas Dominguets street.
This sponsor has joined the wave of badminton by giving four Toyota CHR hybrid vehicles with which the airport pick-ups have been made, as well as all the internal transfers. In this way, the objective of contributing to the reduction of pollution and carbon footprint has been achieved.
The Iberdrola Spanish International, the Spanish International Sub 15 and Sub 17 and the IBIZA 2022 European Sub 15 Championship have not only dyed the island with badminton, but also ‘green’, the color that represents the environment and sustainability , a philosophy that fits in with the character of the Ibizan capital in particular and of the Balearic Islands in general, due to the fact that it has a very rich natural environment.

Badminton is being breathed in Ibiza during almost the entire month of September, as it is chaining three international tournaments whose grand finale will be the European U15 Championships. Thanks to the invaluable support of the Consell Insular d’Eivissa and the Eivissa City Council, and the predisposition of the Balearic Badminton Federation and Badminton Ibiza, this city is the Spanish and European capital of badminton.
