Spain reached the semifinals with four medal options and finally won two bronzes, Yaidel Gil’s in the men’s singles and María Luisa Jiménez and Mario Rodríguez’s in mixed doubles. In the men’s singles, the first favourite, the Portuguese Tiago Berenguer, fulfilled the predictions and reached the final. In it, Frenchman Arthur Tartanov, executioner of Yaidel Gil, will face a semi-final of maximum emotion.

A similar scenario was seen in the women’s singles, where Aleyna Korkut, second seed, advanced to the final without major problems. On the other side of the draw, the surprise jumped, since the other finalist is the French Leana Laurent. The battle for the gold of the women’s doubles will have among its protagonists the Turkish Demir and Ocakoglu, who defeated the first seeds, against the Romanian Gherasim and Sirbu.

The men’s doubles final will have a Danish accent, as it will face two couples from that country: Bouet – Hinding against Andersson – Roslyng. In mixed doubles there will also be an entirely Danish final, as Andersson and Thornild face Bouet and Landsvig.
