IBIZA 2022 gets underway with a vibrant preliminary round of the IBERDROLA Spanish International
The more than 60 matches played left great badminton moments and several surprises
The triple international appointment of IBIZA 2022 has been launched with the 64 matches corresponding to the preliminary phase of the IBERDROLA Spanish International. It was a day full of emotion in which surprises were not lacking, such as the elimination at the first opportunity of the Dutchman Finn Achthoven, after losing to the Danish Marcus Viscovich.
At the national level, Álvaro Leal has been the most outstanding player, as he has managed to advance to the final draw. Of course, he has had to fight to eliminate tough rivals, among whom was the Spanish Dani Franco.
THE FINAL PHASE BEGINS
The competition continues this Tuesday with the first matches of the final draw. The moment of truth arrives and there will be no lack of emotion.
The round of 16 and quarterfinals will be played on Wednesday, and the semifinals and finals will be played on Thursday. The latter will not start before 2:00 p.m.
