Spanish team for the Ibiza 2022 European U15 Championships
Ibiza will chain two weeks of international badminton in September, whose grand finale will be the European U15 Championships from 12st to the 24th of that month.
The Spain national team made up by coach Ernesto García includes 12 players from five regions of Spain. In this competition, García will be accompanied by technicians Vicent Martínez and Roberto González.
Spanish players will compete in all the draws, with three representatives in each of them.
Boy’s singles: Yaidel Gi, Raúl Bergua, Gonzalo Isabal.
Girl’s singles: María Luisa Jiménez, Iziar Barcala, Sofía García.
Boy’s doubles: Raúl Bergua – Gonzalo Isabal, Yaidel Gil – Mario Rodríguez and Alex Tur – Gabriel Cañellas
Girl’s doubles: María Luisa Jiménez – Sofía García, Iziar Barcala – Paula Yedra and Carmen Carro – Ana Agua
Mixed Doubles: Mario Rodríguez – María Luisa Jiménez, Yaidel Gil – Sofía García and Gonzalo Isabal – Carmen Carro.
The Spanish badminton academy is shining around Europe, especially in Spain. The medals achieved in the IBERDROLA Spanish Junior International played in Gandía or the Benalmadena Andalusian Spanish Open prove it.
